I am a photographer in Omaha, Nebraska.

I see photography moving back into the world of art. Originally seen as a replacement for painters, photography has focused on realism for most of its existence. Modern photography and image editting can create an artwork that tells a story and shows more about the subject than a simple photo ever could. Photographers must become artists again. I find this realization exciting and wonderful.

Events and action photography come natural to me. Baton twirling has been my largest event subject with over 10,000 images. I also have photographed YMCA basketball, football and other sports.

Photo painting, processing photographs to resemble paintings is a growing area for me. The resulting images are more powerful and trigger the imagination, evoking more of a response in the viewer.
